Brian Austin Green Spotted On Date With Courtney Stodden After He Confirms His Split With Megan Fox

Brian Austin Green has been spotted getting lunch with Courtney Stodden following the split of Green and his former wife Megan Fox. On Saturday, Green was photographed opening the passenger side door to a car for Stodden in Los Angeles. 

The pictures comes after Green had announced the split between him and Fox. The two had been married for 10 years and share three sons together. Green shared the news on his podcast With Brian Green. A few days prior to the confirmation, Fox had been photographed with rapper Machine Gun Kelly and appeared in his music video “Bloody Valentine.” The pair had met on the movie set of Midnight in the Switchgrass. The production was put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

In the podcast episode, Green revealed that he and Fox were growing apart. “She said, ‘I realized when I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself and I liked myself better during that experience and I think that might be something worth trying for me,” he explained. “I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can’t be upset at her because she didn’t ask to feel that way. It wasn’t a choice she made, that’s the way she honestly felt. We talked about it a little more and said let’s separate for a bit… and so we did.” 

He added, “I don’t want people to think that [they] are villains or I was a victim in any way with any of this — because I wasn’t. This isn’t something new for us. This is something new for people to experience and hear about in the press … but it’s not new for us.”

Stodden is best known for her marriage to Lost actor Doug Hutchinson. Their marriage made headlines in 2011 due to their large age difference. At the time, Stodden was 16 years-old and Hutchinson was 51. Stodden filed for divorce in March 2018.
