‘Cats,’ ‘Madea’ & ‘Rambo’ Lead Nominations For Razzie ‘Awards’ [Full Nominees List]

The Oscars were on television this Sunday, but don’t let that event cloud your memory, as the 40th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards kicked off on Friday. As there were many films that dominated the legitimate awards ceremonies this year, remakes such as Cats and Rambo dominated the field.

The ‘award’ ceremony only lasts for approximately five minutes.

Leading off the award ceremony for Worst Picture were Cats and Madea are both included. Neither film was rated above 30% according to popular online film critic RottenTomatoes.

Sylvester Stallone was nominated for his 23rd Golden Raspberry this year, as he is featured in the Worst Actor category for reprising his role as Rambo.

For Worst Actress, Tyler Perry gets the nod for his infamous role as Madea. Perry is nominated twice in the Worst Supporting Actor category. Rebel Wilson is unable to catch a break too, as she is nominated for Worst Actress in The Hustle in addition to Worst Supporting Actress in Cats.

For Worst Screen Combo, the Razzies nominated “John Travolta & Any Screenplay He Accepts” as well as “Jason Derulo and his CGI Neutered Bulge” in Cats.

The Razzies aren’t all negativethough. The final award given out by the ceremony, is the Razzie Redeemer Award, which includes one of the internet’s most well loved stars, Keanu Reeves.
