Former Smallville star Allison Mack is engaged two years after being released from prison for her role in the NXIVM cult.

Mack met her now fiancé, Frank, at a dog park in December 2024, and the couple got engaged shortly after.

In 2021, the Smallville actress was convicted of and pleaded guilty to charges of sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and conspiracy to commit forced labor.

The cult was led by ring leader Keith Raniere until he was arrested in March 2018 for the same charges, along with wire fraud and racketeering. He is currently facing 120 years in prison at the United States Penitentiary in Arizona.

Mack recruited sex slaves for Raniere’s personal use and coerced them to engage in sexual intercourse with him, as well as send him explicit photos. Mack received financial benefits for her efforts.

Mack faced a three-year sentence and a $20,000 fine. Prosecutors gave her a lenient sentence than planned because she aided officials in collecting evidence against Raniere.

“Although Mack could have provided even more substantial assistance had she decided to cooperate earlier, Mack provided significant, detailed and highly corroborated information which assisted the government in its prosecution,” wrote United States Attorney Jacquelyn M. Kasulis.

Mack was released in 2023 after serving two years out of her three-year sentence. U.S. District Judge Nicholas Garaufis felt that Raniere coerced Mack.

He stated, “I don’t doubt that you were manipulated and also felt captive.”

Mack is currently living in Los Angeles, and her wedding was reported to be held in a private outdoor ceremony.
