Tom Hanks’ Son, Chet, Stirs Up Romance Rumors With Troubled Reality TV Star, Kim Zolciak

Chet Hanks opened up about the love he has for his troubled The Surreal Life costar, Kim Zolciak, at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards.

“Kim is cool as hell. We hung out in L.A. a couple weeks ago,” Hanks, 34, said. “We had dinner and caught up. She’s just really awesome.”

“She’s really supportive of my country music that I’m doing, and she’s been introducing me to people,” Hanks added. “So yeah, Kim’s dope. [She’s] my homegirl.”

While Hanks and Zolciak, 46, have previously sparked dating rumors after they were seen in bed together in a trailer for Season 8 of the series, the two have maintained that they are nothing more than close friends. 

At one point, Hanks and Zolciak, who is in the middle of a divorce with her estranged husband, Kroy Biermann, were spotted getting close with one another while filming the series last October. Zolciak and Biremann have frequently called the police on each other in the last year.

In July, Zolciak opened up about her friendship with Hanks, noting that it was nothing physical. 

“Yes, he has a nice body, but it’s just kind of his vibe and what he puts off and his energy,” she said. “He had made me a protein shake right away. I adore him. I’ve gotten to know him throughout The Surreal Life and even more recently and he’s great.”

Hanks recently said he would “absolutely” move to Atlanta to be closer to Zolciak.
