Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge has revealed a late-in-life diagnosis following her first therapy session.

“I am on the spectrum,” she said during Monday’s episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast, co-hosted by Teddi Mellencamp. The 57-year-old said that “working through trauma” has been her “biggest problem.”

“I just thought that things were black and white to me… I grew up with a family that didn’t have a lot of empathy or love or whatever, so that just transpired into my adult life,” she explained.

“But after talking and going through everything and my emotions, and I have had a hard time with empathy and feeling other people’s feelings… there’s a reason why,” Judge continued. She said she is preparing for a “rough few months” as she goes through “a lot of huge changes” in her life.

At the time of the recording, Judge had not shared her diagnosis with her husband, Eddie Judge, and promised her co-host that she would elaborate more off-camera.

Fans have commended Judge for speaking out about her diagnosis.

“Amazing to share such a private self-discovery experience through therapy with the public,” one fan commented. “That is beyond hard to do.”

In July, Judge claimed Denise Richards hit her at BravoCon.
