Cyndi Lauper Preps For Her ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ Farewell Tour – Setlist & Ticket Deals

Pop icon Cyndi Lauper is less than a month away from the start of her farewell tour.

On June 3, Lauper announced her 23-city North American tour, the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour. The shows will kick off on October 18 at the Bell Centre in Montreal and the final show will take place at the United Center in Chicago on December 5.

The groundbreaking Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winning singer/songwriter rose to fame in the 1980s with her tour-title song hit. An outspoken feminist, Lauper was a fearless female presence.

An unapologetically feminist pop star, Lauper’s activist work did not stop there. Her 1986 album True Colors was quickly adopted by LGBTQ community as anthems for pride and Lauper would go in to found the True Colors Fund (now called True Colors United), a charity for LGBTQ+ youth living with homelessness.
