Donald Trump tongue-lashed Taylor Swift after the singer publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president following the presidential debate.

The former president raged at Swift on Truth Social, posting, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT” without additional context.

Following the presidential debate between Trump and Harris last week, the singer took to Instagram to share her support for the Democratic vice president.

“She fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” she wrote. “I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.”

Swift also condemned Trump’s use of AI-generated images of her in her post to make it seem like she was promoting his campaign. While Trump posted multiple photos – including one of the singer in an Uncle Sam outfit giving a fake endorsement to his campaign – the Republican candidate denied knowing anything about the images.

Following Trump’s hate post, Ana Navarro, the GOP strategist and vocal Trump critic, posted on X, “Donald Trump has lost what little sanity he had left. Taylor Swift broke him.”

While Trump’s post sparked much online controversy, it wasn’t the first time he made a comment regarding Swift’s endorsement.

The day after the debate, in an interview on the Fox News show Fox & Friends, Trump seemingly glossed over Swift’s endorsement of Harris.

“I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” Trump said. “She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”
