Kellyanne Conway’s Daughter, Claudia, Speaks Out About Backlash Received For Post At DNC With Her Dad
Claudia Conway, daughter of the former president’s adviser, Kellyanne Conway, said she doesn’t care about the criticism she has received after voicing her support for the vice president in the 2024 race.
Conway shared a photo of herself with her father, George Conway, who has criticized the former president. The two were pictured in the audience at the DNC, with the caption saying “MAGA’s most-hated.” The post received 2.2 million views.
While she received encouragement from some users, others condemned the 19-year-old. One commented, “What a f—ed up family.”
Despite the backlash, Claudia is staying true to her beliefs.
“All of those comments that are saying that – I’m with my parents right now and we feel sorry for them,” she told the U.S. Sun. “A lot of these people live on Twitter like my mom always says, and they don’t like seeing a woman with an opinion on either side.”
She told the outlet that the comments she received were “filled with vitriol, hatred and jealousy,” and urged her followers to “open a book and educate yourselves.”
In July, Claudia criticized her mother for supporting the former president’s V.P pick. However, the mother-daughter duo seem to maintain a loving relationship despite their differences.
George, on the other hand, shares the same political views as his daughter and even donated $929,000 to the current president’s victory fund in April.
