French Diver Jules Bouyer’s Speedo Bulge At Paris Olympics Sets Social Media On Fire
French diver Jules Bouyer, 22, is burning up social media – but not for his dives.
His very conspicuous Speedo bulge distracted his many fans during Monday’s diving competition at the 2024 Paris Games. Shortly thereafter, many shots of Bouyer went viral online.
“I just really hope his Speedo is getting paid time and half,” one fan wrote.
The diver qualified for his first Olympics in Paris after winning the Junior European and Junior World champion titles in 2021.
He began diving at the age of 6, training at the Lyon Plongeon Club.
On Friday, he will compete in the final of the men’s synchronized 3m springboard final with teammate Alexis Jandard.
Bouyer, who hails from Annecy, France, has already been signed with Ford Models and has appeared in Athletica Magazine.
The incident was reminiscent of U.S. rower Henrik Rummel, whose noticeable bulge at the 2012 London Games also went viral.
