Elon Musk Said His Transgender Daughter Was ‘Killed By The Woke Mind Virus’

Billionaire Elon Musk has spoken out about his relationship with his transgender daughter, calling his former son “dead.”

Musk’s 20-year-old daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, is one of six he shares with his first wife Justine Wilson. Vivian, formerly Xavier, legally transitioned in 2022, dropping her father’s last name and saying she “no longer wishes to be related” to Musk “in any way,” according to the court filings.

The world’s richest man commented on his daughter’s decision during an interview with Jordan Peterson for The Daily Wire.

“So-called gender-affirming care is a terrible euphemism, that’s for sure. It’s child mutilation and sterilization under the guise of gender-affirming care,” he said.

“It’s evil,” Musk continued. “I mean, you’re taking kids who are obviously often far below the age of consent – almost every child goes through some kind of identity crisis, it’s just part of growing up – so it’s very possible for adults to manipulate children who are having a natural identity crisis into believing that they are the wrong gender and that they need to be the other gender.”

Musk’s remarks came days after he announced his decision to move his X and SpaceX headquarters out of California due to Gov. Gavin Newsom‘s (D) stance on transgender rights.

“We have an age of consent for a reason,” he said. “The reason you can’t get, say, tattoos below age 18 or drink or drive, and there are ages at which you can do those things, is because if we allow children to take permanent actions when they’re 10, 12, 14 years old, they will do things that they subsequently greatly regret.”

Peterson asked Musk where his opposition came from, prompting him to recall Vivian’s transition.

“It happened to one of my older boys, where I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier, before I had really any understanding of what was going on, and we had Covid-19 going on, and so there was a lot of confusion. I was told Xavier might commit suicide.”

Musk said he was unaware that the puberty blockers that Vivian was given were also sterilization drugs, resulting in him “losing” his son.

“They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason,” Musk told Peterson. “The reason it’s called ‘deadnaming’ is because, uh, your son is dead. So my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

Deadnaming refers to the name a transgender person went by before transitioning. This is not the first time Musk has publicly condemned his daughter. In September, he called her a “communist” who thinks “anyone rich is evil.”
