Jill Zarin, former reality TV star of The Real Housewives of New York City, recently revealed that she went under the knife.

Her surgery, which included a facelift, chin implant and fat transfer, was performed by Dr. Ira Satetsky, the husband of former The Real Housewives of New York City star Lizzy Savetsky.

“The procedure included a dual plane lower facelift and neck lift, which involved repositioning both the skin and underlying muscles to achieve a more youthful look,” Savetsky told Page Six. “To enhance her profile, I placed a small chin implant.”

The fat transfer was conducted to provide more volume on Zarin’s hands, temple and other areas of her body that Zarin thought appeared less youthful. Dr. Savetsky closely monitored her recovery, visiting her once or twice daily to ensure everything was progressing smoothly.

Zarin has been very open about her surgeries on her Instagram, where she vowed to post side-by-side photos of her surgical journey eventually.

“Being on a reality TV show, obviously, it’s going to look weird if I come back next season looking ten years younger, which I do, obviously,” she told E! News.

Before opting for surgery, Zarin had received Botox treatments for her neck and undergone liquid facelifts with injectable Restylane from Dr. Patricia Wexler.

Zarin is currently starring in the new series The GOAT, in which 14 former reality TV celebrities compete in mental, physical and social challenges to become the “Greatest of All Time.”

When asked what she learned about herself, Zarin recently told uInterview: “You know, I didn’t really learn much about myself. I am who I am, so I’m good. I don’t think I learned anything new about myself—by my age, I already know.”

Other The Real Housewives stars, such as Caroline Stanbury, have also been open about their experiences with plastic surgery
