The Republican National Committee’s head of election security, Christina Bobb, a former attorney of Donald Trump, has been ridiculed on social media following her arraignment for trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Arizona by sending a slate of fake electors from the state.

Bobb was a lawyer for Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign. When she worked for One America News, she reported on an audit of the Arizona election results while also raising money for the audit.

From there, the former Trump lawyer became a part of the fake elector plot and the “command center” at the Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C., during the Capitol attack on January 6, 2021.

Her mugshot was taken this week after she and ten other people who appeared in court virtually were arraigned at a Maricopa County, Arizona, courthouse. At the same time, she pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.

She was seen smirking during her arraignment.

Bobb, the senior counsel of the Republican National Committee’s (RNC) election integrity unit, was indicted by Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes (D) last month for her efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election in favor of Trump by sending fake electors to Washington, D.C., on January 6

The other allies of the former president indicted by the Arizona grand jury include former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani, who had finally been served on May 17 after weeks of avoiding Mayes.

In the middle of the arraignment, the ex-Trump attorney’s mugshot started spreading across social media as many took to X to mock her.

“Christina Bobb’s Arizona mugshot for the fake elector’s scheme just dropped,” X user @ArtCandee wrote in a post made on May 21. “She looks possessed.”

“Why the long face Christina Bobb,” the user A_tothe_Z_Amber asked in a post. “She has pleaded not guilty in the AZ fake electors case. Looking really good for being the new RNC Counsel for ‘Election Integrity.'”

Despite the mockery, Bobb appeared to embrace her mugshot, which she shared in a post on X made on Tuesday.

“Welcome to Biden’s America,” she wrote in the caption.

In October 2022, Bobb, who falsely confirmed in a letter that Trump turned over all the classified documents to the government after his administration ended, told federal investigators that she had not drafted the letter she signed and that instead, Evan Corcoran drafted it and asked her to sign it.

She also mentioned that she insisted that the document clearly said that she certified Trump turned over the files “based upon the information that has been provided to me.”

Bobb stated that the person who offered the information was Corcoran.

The RNC hired Bobb and former Trump administration attorney Bill McGinley in March to lead legal efforts on “election integrity.”
