Former Porn Star Emily Willis’ Family Reveals She Is Awake From Coma But In A ‘Vegetative State’ After Suffering From Cardiac Arrest

After suffering a cardiac arrest last month, ex-porn star Emily Willis slipped into a coma and has been in a vegetative state ever since. Her family moved Willis to a celebrity rehab but are preparing for the worst concerning her condition. 

Willis’ stepfather revealed that Willis, 25, had regained consciousness in a California hospital. She can open her eyes, follow objects with them, and even express some emotion with her face. 

When the ex-adult actress was discovered unresponsive and was rushed to a hospital. First responders, as well as doctors, initially considered Willis to be suffering from a possible overdose. However, a toxicology report showed that there were no drugs in her system at the time of the cardiac arrest. 

Willis was then in a rehabilitation facility where she was receiving treatment for addiction for eight days. Still, upon review of the toxicology report, doctors were confused about how she went into cardiac arrest. 

Doctors don’t believe there will be any improvement in her condition. 

Willis’ family hopes to move her from the California hospital to a new one in St. George, Utah, to be closer to family and eliminate some of the medical expenses she has racked up in California. 

Additionally, Willis’ brother started a GoFundMe campaign in honor of his sister to try to pay for some of her major medical bills. The campaign has reached its goal of $60,000. 

Willis was trying to move on from porn into more serious acting when she suffered her medical emergency.
