Sofia Vergara Goes For Gold At ‘Griselda’ Premiere

Sofia Vergara dressed up in a gold dress at the U.S. premiere of Netflix’s Griselda in Miami on Tuesday.

Vergara, who plays the role of Griselda on the new Netflix series, wore a Laura Basci dress that was gold and strapless at the premiere. She added bangle bracelets and dangling earrings to go along with her gold dress.

The actress known for her role on the ABC hit show Modern Family, which ran for 11 seasons, was spotted with Emilio Estefan, husband of Latin pop star Gloria Estefan, during the event. Estefan wore glasses with red lenses, a white suit and black pants. Carolina Giraldo, also known as Karol G, who plays Carla in the series, attended the event as well, along with other co-stars.

Vergara plays the role of Griselda Blanco, a real-life Colombian drug cartel leader. This is one of her first projects since her divorce from Joe Manganiello last July. The actress recently revealed the differences between them, including her decision to not have any more children. Vergara became a mother when she was just a teenager.

Vergara is also the executive producer of Griselda, in addition to her acting duties and judging on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
