Kanye West Dons A Black KKK-Like Hood During The ‘Vultures’ Album Listening Event
On Monday night, Kanye West attended the listening event in Miami for his album, Vultures, which is set to be released on December 15.
The rapper wore a pointed black hood with two eyeholes on stage. It resembled the hoods worn by the Ku Klux Klan.
A photo of him wearing the hood while onstage and standing alongside Playboi Carti was posted on X by musical artist Kurrco.
“Kanye West x Playboi Carti,” they stated in the caption.
Most of the people who replied to this post responded negatively to West’s outfit.
For instance, the user, @bishidaboas20, replied with this question: “Why[‘]s bro dressed up as a klan leader[?]”
“Wtf do Ye got on? He look like he in the Klux,” replied the user @fuccblanc.
Some of the other music stars attending this event included Chris Brown, Kodak Black and Offset.
West’s wife, Bianca Censori, and his kids North, Chicago and Saint were also in attendance.
North joined her father onstage so that she could show off her rapping skills to the audience.
This was what she sang for her rapping debut: “I love it here, we gonna take over the year for another year/ It’s your bestie, Miss Miss Westie/ Don’t try to test me, it’s gonna get messy/ It’s gonna get messy, just-just bless me.”
Last week, the rapper was called out by critics and Jewish advocacy groups in early December for having an antisemitic lyric in his song, “Vultures.”
Additionally, Censori made a spectacle of herself when they attended Art Basel Miami on December 11. She was seen wearing a snug nude bodysuit and an expensive fur hat while holding a stuffed animal that looked like a polar bear.
