Taylor Swift’s representative, Tree Paine, has lambasted rumors that she and her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, were married at some point before splitting in April after a six-year relationship.

Paine responded to an anonymous X account, DeuxMoi, which claimed that Swift and Alwyn had a marriage ceremony in 2020 or 2021.

“Enough is enough with these fabricated lies about Taylor from Deuxmoi. There was NEVER a marriage or ceremony of ANY kind. This is an insane thing to post. It’s time for you to be held accountable for the pain and trauma you cause with posts like these,” Paine wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Duexmoi also shared a story speculating that one of Taylor’s songs was about a miscarriage she suffered while with Alwyn.

Swift and Alwyn were notoriously private about their relationship together. Alwyn addresses engagement rumors between him and Swift last year.

“If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins. I mean, the truth is, if the answer was ‘yes,’ I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was ‘no,’ I wouldn’t say,” Alwyn said.

Swift has had an eventful 2023, from her mega-successful Eras tour to a highly publicized relationship with Travis Kelce. Before that, she was linked to the 1975’s Matty Healy earlier this year.

Last week, Swift said she was “shattered” after a fan died at her Rio concert.
