Casey Woods ‘Hasn’t Walked In 4 Months’ After Injury Filming ‘Bachelor In Paradise’

Bachelor in Paradise star Casey Woods revealed in his Instagram Story that he hasn’t walked since the injury on the show four months ago.

On Wednesday’s episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, Woods told the hosts that he collapsed on the beach in Vallarta-Nayarit, Mexico after telling Wells Adams he felt “very dizzy” and “might pass out.”

He was quickly taken to a local hospital and flew back to the U.S. for further treatment.

He told the hosts that he was not able to undergo surgery for three weeks because of swelling.

Woods stayed in the bed 23 hours a day in the first month after the fall and his parents took care of him.

“Quite an unexpected turn of events and just really sad,” said Woods. “But at the same time, thank God I didn’t hit my head on anything.”

The Bachelor star still has “three broken bones” and has “three operations” according to his Instagram story.

Doctors told him his bones “shifted just a little bit” and he would still need to use a scooter about two weeks ago.

“Went into Paradise at my physical, mental, and spiritual best…” Woods wrote in a separate post. “Left with 3 broken bones… haven’t walked in over 4 months, but trying to remain positive… thank you to everyone sending sweet messages… it means the world ❤️”

In his new Instagram story posted today, he uploaded a video of the doctor cutting through the cast, captioning it, “Got my cast off got his cast off 🥳🥳🥳“. He also added a photo of his foot in a boot, captioning it “Boot n scoot.”
