Britney Spears is calling out her friends and family for ghosting her while she was in a mental hospital.

The “Baby One More Time” singer, 40, posted screenshots of texts she sent while staying at a mental health facility in 2019. The texts Spears wrote claimed she was given medication against her will and that she was worried it might kill her.

The now-deleted text exchanges show Britney’s angry texts to her mother, Lynne Spears (“Me Maw”) saying her doctors were increasing her dosage of Seroquel, a brand name for Quetiapine. Seroquel which is an anti-psychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression.

“He was saying he wants to UP the [Seroquel] and I’m like whoaaaaaaa horsey go f*** [yourself],” Britney texted. “[Seroquel] I thought was a sleep aid but it’s for bipolar and is WAAAAAY Stronger than lithium.”

“I literally feel all the sick medicine in my stomach. I feel like he’s trying to kill me. I swear to god I do,” she wrote.

Britney wrote in the caption of her post that Lynne had not responded to her texts.

“Here are my text messages to my mom in that place 3 years ago… I show it because there was no response… When I got out, her words were “you should have let me visit you and give you a hug,” she wrote.

She shared texts she sent to a lawyer she “didn’t get to pick,” which also went unanswered.

Britney also called out her long-time hometown friend Jansen for not responding to her inquiry about getting a new lawyer.

“She [Jansen] was supposed to help me get a new lawyer… I never heard back from her…” Britney added to her caption.

After Britney deleted her texts post, Lynne posted saying Britney either never received or wasn’t showing the responses Jansen had sent.

“I did respond! I have always felt like some of my messages were deleted,” Jansen wrote. “When [Britney] left the facility my phone number was blocked from her and we have never spoken again.”

Lynne commented on the text exchange saying, “Britney, I have all the ‘whole conversations’ as well! I hurt for you that you feel the people who love you the most betrayed you! Let me come to you! I love you!”

Late Monday, Britney responded to her mother’s comment. She questioned if Lynne wanted Britney to tell the public things like “how you were at my beach house when I couldn’t even have the keys to my car???” Or claiming Lynne went to events — drinking wine and having her picture taken — “when I couldn’t go anywhere or have my boyfriend anymore??? You have some nerve showing your texts when you know you guys hurt me so bad its not even funny !!!”

“You abused me,” Britney concluded. “Yes I will say it and it blows my mind that you still play the prayer loving mom.” Britney’s response has been, once again, deleted from Instagram.

During Britney’s 13-year-long conservatorship, Lynne had no official part in it but did attend hearings. Even though she was on Britney’s side of the trial, Britney claims her mother was a crucial part of making the conservatorship continue.

“My dad may have started the conservatorship 13 years ago … but what people don’t know [is] that my mom is the one who gave him the idea. I will never get those years back. She secretly ruined my life,” she said.
