Ivana Trump Disses Melania Trump’s Performance As First Lady: ‘She’s Very Quiet’

In an interview on the British talk show Loose Women, Ivana Trump, 71, talked about what she thinks of Melania Trump‘s job as the first lady.

President Trump‘s first wife said, “I am not sure. She’s very quiet, and she really doesn’t go to too many places. She goes to stuff when she has to go.”

Ivana also stated that she doesn’t have any relationship with the president’s third wife, clarifying that she speaks directly to President Trump and doesn’t “get involved with the ex-wives and his private life.”

In 2017, Ivana appeared on Good Morning America and said that she didn’t want to call the White House because “Melania is there.” She stated, “I don’t want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I’m basically first Trump wife. Ok? I’m first lady.” At the time, Ivana was promoting her book about raising three children with the president.

Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump’s spokeswoman, responded, “[Melania Trump] plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.” Melania launched her children’s wellness initiative, Be Best, in 2018.
