Australian boy band 5 Seconds of Summer are postponing their upcoming No Shame tour to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The band was set to travel through North America and Australia later this year, but “due to government action in certain markets and out of an abundance of caution, the remaining shows this year will no longer be possible,” the band said in a statement.

“As we’ve said before, playing live shows for our fans is what makes us want to be a band. While we’re all disappointed to reschedule these shows, the safety of our fans, touring crew and venue staff takes precedence and we know this is the right decision,” the band said on Instagram.

The band has not been able to reschedule every show that was originally planned for this year, but they have added an extra show in Philadelphia, and several shows in Europe. Tickets for shows that haven’t been rescheduled will be automatically refunded. Check out the dates below to see when 5SOS coming to your area.

“Lastly, we want you all to know… we see you and we feel your support. It really means everything to us, over the past 9 years, we have visited countries all over the world and played shows for fans of all cultures, races, genders, religions, sexual orientations and backgrounds along the way,” the band said. “We really feel what’s so special about our fanbase, and something we’re proud of and very much felt growing up, is that when we would all come together, we would try and create a safe and positive environment where you could listen to and celebrate music without exclusion, inequality or discrimination. An environment where you can be you.”
