260,000 Sign Petition To Stop Production Of Film ‘Habit’ Where Paris Jackson Plays ‘Lesbian’ Jesus
Over 260,000 people have singed the petition on change.org to stop new movie Habit, which stars Paris Jackson, the daughter of the King of Pop Michael Jackson, as Jesus, from making its cinema debut. The petition claims that the film is “Christianophobic garbage” and that it will portray Jackson’s character as a lesbian.
As announced in April the movie is set to star Gavin Rossdale and Bella Thorne who is said to play a “street smart party girl with a Jesus fetish [who] gets mixed up in a violent drug deal and finds a possible way out by masquerading as a nun.” Jackson’s “gender-bending take on the religious figure” and will wear “a nose ring, tousled waves and a traditional robe.”
The petition is directed towards Warner Bros and Lionsgate and states that the movie is “blasphemous” and that it is “Christianophobic garbage that is spread nowadays, but is somehow accepted and praised by society.” It also claims that Jackson will play Jesus as a lesbian even though there is no direct public confirmation of this.
Many have used social media in an attempt to get others to sign. User @Bstine_ said, “This is a film about ‘lesbian jesus’ very disrespectful to my religion. Sign this petition to get this movie cancelled. If your following Paris Jackson DONT.

Others, however, support the movement of the film. @AvariceKing responded back, “…then don’t watch it? It’s intended to be a parody lol, being disrespectful is kind of the point.”
Another petition from an organization called One Million Moms had also created a petition against Habit saying that it is “sacrilegious and “ridicules people of faith.” It was able to receive over 69,000 signatures.
