‘Tiger King’ Star Joe Exotic Moved To Prison Medical Center After Coronavirus Concerns
Tiger King star Joe Exotic was moved to a prison medical center on Thursday, after previously being held in isolation from other inmates that had tested positive for coronavirus at Grady County Jail in Oklahoma.
Joseph “Exotic” Maldonado-Passage has not been confirmed to have COVID-19, but his husband, Dillon Passage, told Andy Cohen in a radio interview on Wednesday that “they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases.”
Exotic was confirmed to have moved to Fort Worth Federal Medical Center on Thursday, but officials did not reveal his condition when The New York Post reached out. Passage also did not say whether his husband had the virus or not.
“We speak like three to five times every day, but [not] since he’s been moved to this new facility,” Passage said.
Exotic is currently serving 22 years for putting together a murder-for-hire plot to kill Carole Baskin, as well as falsifying wildlife records and violating the Endangered Species Act.
