Who Is Alexandra Grant, Keanu Reeves’ Grey-Haired Artist Girlfriend

Last November, Keanu Reeves made a public appearance arm-in-arm with a woman named Alexandra Grant. The two were seen together at the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles, and many assumed that this was a new relationship for the Matrix and John Wick actor. However, there’s some new evidence that suggest Reeves and Grant have been dating much longer than a few months. Actress Jennifer Tilly, who is a friend of Grant, said that the couple has been dating, “for years,” in an interview with Page Six. “I remember a couple years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend’ and I’m like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?” said Tilly in the interview. “It’s really astonishing to me how in the last five months, all of a sudden, she goes to an event with him and everybody goes insane, like, ‘It’s his new girlfriend,’ because she had gone to a lot of events with him,” continued Tilly.

But who is Alexandra Grant? Grant is an American artist who is based in Los Angeles. According to her website, Grant’s work, “is an exploration of the use of text and language in various media,” that, “probes ideas of translation, identity, dis/location, and social responsibility.” Her work has been featured in a number of galleries across the world and two Los Angeles Museums. Grant and Reeves first met about a decade ago, collaborating on the book Ode to Happiness in 2011 – Reeves wrote while Grant illustrated. The couple later collaborated on another book, Shadows in 2016, and then created X Artists’ Books, a publishing house, in 2017.

Tilly also stated that Reeves and Grant are, “the perfect couple.” “I think everybody wishes that they had something like that. It’s not a razzle dazzle Hollywood romance,” said Tilly of Reeve and Grant’s romance.
