Fans of this blockbuster racing franchise can rest easy, knowing that another Fast & Furious is currently in the works, and will hit theaters within a few months.

Vin Diesel is back, and he’s being accompanied by his racing buddies once again. This time, Justin Lin will be directing the film. He’s responsible for helping direct NBC’s sitcom, Community.

In Fast & Furious 9, Dominic Toretto discovers that his brother Jakob – played by the former WWE Champion, John Cena  — is a master assassin and top-class driver, working for an old enemy of Dominic.

Many fans will also be excited to know that Sung Kang will be reprising his role as Han Lue, who was presumed to be dead, due to an accident where his car flips several times and then literally bursts into flames.

The inclusion – or resurrection – of Han Lue has had various reactions on Twitter.

In addition to many key characters, the movie also announced that celebrities such as MMA fighter Francis Ngannou, Puerto Rican superstar Ozuna, and also Bronx-legend Cardi B will all be given roles in the movie.

When asked about a sequel to the 9th film in the franchise, Diesel told Games Radar, “The universe is so robust and so rich with talent and rich with story that, on one level, it’s totally feasible to have spinoffs, and I think that’s something that is inevitable. Universal deserves it because of how much they’ve invested in this little saga, and it’d be good to give back to Universal. And for the fans, should Fast 10 parts one and two be the conclusion, it would be nice for this world to continue for generations to come.”
