Authorities in Oregon believe they have found the remains of Seinfeld actor Charles Levin.

According to KTVL, the actor was in the process of moving when he went missing last week. His son in Los Angeles notified authorities of his disappearance last Monday.

Authorities searched for Levin for the past week.

An emergency cell phone ping led authorities to search a remote area northeast of Selma on Friday but there was no sign of Levin, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said.

On Saturday, a resident found Levin’s car on a remote, almost impassible road. The vehicle was off the roadway.

Levin’s pug, Boo Bear, was found in the vehicle and Levin’s body was located near the car.

“Based on the circumstances, there is a high probability that the remains are those of Charles Levin,” police said.

Police have also stated that the medical examiner will make the final identification of the remains.

Levin was 70 years old and appeared in shows like Seinfeld, Alice, NYPD Blue and Hill Street Blues. He also starred in the film The Golden Child.

He had three children, Jessie, Ben, and Kate Levin and was married to Katherine DeHetre until she passed away in 2007.
