Idris Elba Reveals Meghan Markle Gave Him A ‘West Coast’ Setlist For The Royal Wedding

Guests at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s wedding reception last May danced the night away thanks to Idris Elba, who deejayed the entire event.

The actor and occasional royal wedding deejay opened up to BBC Radio 1Xtra about performing at the high profile gig. He revealed that the bride had a lot to say when it came to the setlist.

“Meghan sent me a playlist with some bare tunes on it.” Elba said.

When asked to disclose what songs were on the setlist, Elba shared, “There was some West Coast on it.”

He refused to share any further details about the setlist. “I’m not gonna put their business out like that, that’s not fair. Ask Meghan and Harry.”

Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, wed in front of about 600 guests at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary in May by posting behind-the-scenes pictures on their joint Instagram account.

Ever since the couple tied the knot, much has changed for them. They welcomed their first child Archie Harrison Mountbatter-Windsor on May 6.
