Drake is suing a woman for falsely accusing him of raping and impregnating her during a one night stand.

In April 2017, Layla Lace posted on Instagram alleged text messages between her and the rapper along with a photo of a lab printout of a pregnancy test order. She accused the rapper of impregnating her then dodging her calls. After deleting her Instagram account, she later went onto Sirius XM radio’s Shade 45 channel to announce that she was 100 percent sure that Drake had gotten her pregnant. At that time, Lace hadn’t made any claims of sexual assault against the rapper.

On Tuesday, Drake filed a lawsuit against Lace, in which he accuses her of civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation and abuse of process.

The lawsuit documents state that “Layla Lace is a former stripper who has spent at least the last year and a half plotting and scheming to—in her words—’make a field day’ out of megastar Aubrey Drake Graham’s ‘f—king ass!!!'”

Drake has maintained that he and Lace had consensual and protected sex after meeting in Manchester, England, during his tour.

“There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last fall,” Drake said.

In the lawsuit documents, Drake described Lace as going ballistic after he sent her home instead of letting her stay on tour with him. He said that Lace continued to message him about getting back together and claimed to have a “fantasy relationship” with him.

After a month of messaging Lace, the rapper said that he had stopped responding, then a month later she publicly announced the alleged pregnancy.

When Lace’s lawyer first reached out to Drake demanding money for the alleged baby, Drake said that after getting proof that the child was his, he would support it. After several phone calls asking Lace for a paternity test, the rapper claimed that she had refused to take one. A month later, Drake was informed that he was being accused of an alleged sexual assault during his encounter with Lace.

During the investigation, the Manchester police interviewed the rapper in person and later cleared him of all accusations, but even after the investigation was closed, Drake said in his lawsuit that Lace had demanded him to pay her millions of dollars to keep her quiet.
