Get The Look: Taylor Swift’s Billboard Music Awards Dress Took 800 Hours To Make

Since missing the music awards scene for a couple year, it’s only a given that Taylor Swift would make a stunning comeback at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.

The Reputation singer stepped on the red carpet wearing a custom pink Versace gown. The dress featuring a bold thigh-high slit and was embellished throughout the bodice with silver and feathers.

To complete the look Swift wore a pair of diamond Hueb earrings, as well as metallic rose gold Casadei heels.

Weeks prior to the event, Donatella Versace has been giving small glimpses of the process of creating the dress on her Instagram stories. One photo she shared was of a close up of the dress with the caption, “This gown took more than 800 hours to bring to life.”

Besides from slaying the red carpet, Swift had a successful night in terms of awards, especially it being her first one since her return. She won both “Top Selling Album” and “Top Female Artist,” making her the first-person to ever receive the award three times.

“I haven’t been to an awards show in a few years and it is so nice to be here tonight,” she said on stage while accepting her award. “And it’s so nice to receive female artist. I’m on an all-female artist stadium tour right now, so I have to start out by saying ‘Thank you’ to my tourmates Charli XCX and Camila Cabello.”
