Kanye West Praises Trump’s “Dragon Energy,” Suggests He May Run For President, Trump Thanks Rapper

Kanye West’s tweet storm in the last few days has many believing he wants to run for president in 2024.

West sent Twitter into a frenzy with his first tweet on Tuesday.

Unsurprisingly, there were strong reactions to this post.

 

Then he posted a formerly deleted picture of a “Keep America Great” poster with #Kanye2024.

 

If West did decide to run for office in 2024, it isn’t certain for which party he would run in. He did take a meeting with Donald Trump at the Trump Tower to discuss schools and the violence in Chicago. He recently posted a tweet stating he loves “the way Candace Owens thinks.” Owens is a conservative who is largely know for her critiques on Black Lives Matter and has labeled those protesting against racial injustices as “whiny toddlers, pretending to be oppressed for attention.” Ebro Darden recalled a conversation he had with Kanye allegedly stating his “love ” for Trump.

Recently, West tweeted a picture of a Make America Great Again hat and had the caption, “my MAGA hat is signed.”

 

Trump responded to West saying they both “are dragon energy” and that “he is my brother.” Trump said, “Thank you, Kanye, very cool!”
