John Stamos got down on one knee and proposed to actress and girlfriend Caitlin McHugh over the weekend.

WHO IS CAITLIN MCHUGH?

The actor, 54, popped the question at Disneyland and McHugh, 31, said yes. “I asked…she said yes! …And we lived happily ever after,” Stamos wrote on Twitter alongside a cute drawing of the couple in front of the Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. McHugh also posted her own announcement, saying, “I kissed the boy and said…yes! That’s what you do when the sweetest, most romantic Prince Charming treats you like a princess and asks you to be his.”

According to Stamos’ publicist, the star proposed after showing a series of romantic scenes from Disney films, ending with The Little Mermaid‘s Sebastian saying, “Just ask the girl.” The couple then had dinner with their parents in the theme park.

This will be the second marriage for both parties – Stamos was previously married to Rebecca Romijn from 1998-2005. Stamos and McHugh have been dating for about two years, and tried to keep the relationship quiet at first. Stamos gave his first hint in March 2016 while talking on The View. He was actually on tour with the Beach Boys at the time, and said, “Of all the things I get to do in my life, that is my all-time favorite thing. The other night [during a concert], I grabbed my phone ’cause this girl I’m dating, she loves this song, “Disney Girls.” So I put on FaceTime… I thought I could get away with but people were tweeting, ‘Who are you FaceTiming?!'”

Later that month, it was confirmed that Stamos’ mystery girl was McHugh. She is a model as well as an actress and writer. She’s also a Disney connoisseur, so the engagement plan was perfect.

McHugh recently wrote and starred in her own short film called Ingenue-ish, featuring Josh Peck. “I’m SO EXCITED Ingenue-ish was accepted in the Portland Comedy Film Festival and will get its world premiere there this Wednesday! We received Best Director, Best Supporting actor and Best Actress nominations! 🌟🌟🌟 #portlandcomedyfilmfestival #makingmovies #shortfilm,” she wrote on May 2016.

While Stamos has been relatively private about the relationship, McHugh has not – she shares photos of the couple fairly frequently on her Instagram page. She posted one of the two of them walking around Disneyland just before the proposal. “I’ll always be the #Mickey to his…..whatever he feels like wearing 🙈,” she captioned the snap.

“How do you spell love?” Said Piglet. “You don’t spell it–you feel it,” responded Pooh. #grateful #birthdaygirl
