Former Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dina Manzo and her boyfriend Dave Cantin are victims of an alleged home invasion and robbery that occurred late Saturday night.
DINA MANZO TIED UP & BEATEN IN HOME ROBBERY
According to a statement from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the pair was bound and suffered some injuries. Manzo’s attorney said, “Dina and David are obviously shaken up from the traumatic and violent home invasion and robbery. No one should ever have to go through what they did. They are grateful to law enforcement and the other emergency responders and appreciate everyone’s concern and well-wishes,” the statement concluded.
Manzo, 46, and Cantin, 37, returned home Saturday night to find two burglars inside. The robbers beat Cantin with a baseball bat, while Manzo was punched in the face multiple times. The robbers fled with stolen goods, including cash and jewelry.
Manzo and Cantin were taken to the local hospital to be treated for “facial injuries.” Cantin suffered a broken nose. They have both since been released from the hospital, and no arrests have yet been made.
Manzo was part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey for the first two seasons, and returned for a brief stint during season six. Earlier in the day of the robbery, Manzo and Cantin attended the First Communion of Audriana Giudice, daughter of reality star Teresa Giudice.
