President Trump’s Syria Airstrike Influenced By A “Heartbroken And Outraged” Ivanka Trump

Donald Trump launched 59 missiles at a Syrian government airbase last week, and now Eric Trump says that the strike was influenced by his upset sister, Ivanka Trump.

SYRIAN AIRSTRIKE INFLUENCED BY IVANKA TRUMP

Prior to the strike, the Syrian government launched a chemical attack against its own citizens, killing dozens of civilians. Footage of these attacks made their way across the internet and news.

“Ivanka is a mother of three kids and she has influence,” Eric Trump said to the Daily Telegraph at the Trump Turnberry golf course in Scotland. “I’m sure she said, ‘Listen, this is horrible stuff.’ My father will act in times like that.”

The president was reportedly also “deeply affected” by the images of the attacks, and of children having to be “sprayed down by hoses to keep their skin from burning… It was horrible,” Eric continued. “These guys are savages and I’m glad he responded the way he responded.”

Eric continued to praise his father for his move, which he described as “practical, not impulsive.” He also spoke with the paper about Russian threats of military escalation. “There will be no one harder — he has got more backbone than anybody,” he said. “He is not a guy who gets intimidated. I can tell you he is tough and he won’t be pushed around. The cards will shake out the way they do but he’s tough.”

The president is currently under investigation for colluding with Russian officials to gain advantage in the 2016 US presidential elections. “If there was anything that [the strike on] Syria did, it was to validate the fact that there is no Russia tie,” Eric said in response, though some think the strike might have been a ploy to make people think exactly that.

Even back in 2013 when the US was on the verge of war with Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, Trump was one of the main voices against attack. “We should stay the hell out of Syria,” he tweeted on June 15, 2013. He took the time to criticize Barack Obama for considering acting. “What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval,” he said on Aug. 29, 2013. And on Aug. 30, “If Obama attacks Syria and innocent civilians are hurt and killed, he and the U.S. will look very bad.”
