Justin Timberlake “Open To Talking About” Collaboration With Ex Britney Spears
Singer Justin Timberlake said he would be open to working alongside ex-girlfriend Britney Spears in the future.
TIMBERLAKE UP FOR COLLABORATING WITH SPEARS
The pair met in the early 90s when they were castmates on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club. They dated for three years and ended their relationship in 2002.
Last month, Spears mentioned Timberlake when discussing with whom she might one day work. “Justin Timberlake is very good,” she told Most Requested Live With Romeo when a fan posed the question.
Timberlake finally responded to the mention when he was surprised by the news by an E! reporter. As the father of 17-month old Silas Randall Timberlake, the singer said he had not heard he had made Spears’s shortlist. “She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely.” He followed up with, “I apologize for not being in the know. I’m accessible, give us a call!”
Once he had time to process, he spoke with The Associated Press in an interview. “It seems like a crazy idea, so I don’t know. I have a 17-month-old,” he said. “I don’t know anything. But yeah, that’s very flattering and could be something fun.”
