Selena Gomez Dances With 7 Year Old Girl Suffering From A Rare Disease

Selena Gomez posted an adorable video of her dancing with seven year old Audrey Nethery to Instagram on Wednesday.

Nethery has a rare bone marrow disease called Diamond-Blackfan anemia. The disease is characterized by a “failure of the bone marrow to produce red blood cells.”

Though she’s ill, Nethery enjoys spending her time dancing in Zumba classes — posting videos of her dancing skills online.

Gomez reached out to Nethery on her Facebook page in January, praising the young girl’s dancing talent.

“Audrey, you are an amazing performer! Call me if you ever need a duet partner,” Gomez wrote.

Gomez and Nethery finally had a chance to perform a duet at a meet and greet that Gomez hosted while on tour.

Gomez posted the video of the pair having a fun dance off to her hit single “Love You Like A Love Song.”

“Finally got to meet this sweetheart. She owned it fully,” Gomez captioned the video.
