‘Grand Theft Auto 5’ Goes Down For Maintenance
Rockstar Game’s Grand Theft Auto 5 underwent maintenance repairs, starting today at 1 am EDT/6 am BST.
The company announced the scheduled repairs two days before they happened. The five-hour shut down for the game was across the board, being unavailable on PS 3 and 4, Xbox 1 and 360 and PC Windows.
Several customers complained about not being able to play, even outside of story mode. If they somehow managed to play, they were not able to save what they had done to the servers.
According to the video game manufacturer’s Twitter, the last time significant maintenance was performed was on Aug. 15 last year.
The latest maintenance period came in the middle of the High Life Week event, which offers double RP (reputation) and in-game cash on certain modes until April 28.
Here’s the full schedule of High Life:
Friday April 22nd through Sunday April 24h – Inch By Inch
Monday April 25th through Tuesday April 26th – Races
Wednesday April 27th through Thursday April 28th – Team Deathmatches
