TEASER TRAILER DROPS FOR ‘BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE’

Producers of Batman: The Animated Series are gearing up for their release of Batman: The Killing Joke. The animated movie is based on Alan Moore’s graphic novel and is said to be the darkest of the Batman comics.

The preview details the creation process and the choices the team made for the film. It was also announced that Tara Strong would voice Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, and Ray Wise would voice Commissioner Gordon.

The film also welcomes back Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprising their Batman: The Animated Series voice roles as Batman and The Joker. In the sneak peek below, creators and writers delve into the twisted world of the two characters and how gruesome it is.

“If people want to see a really nasty, vile Joker,” Hamill explains in the sneak peak, “this is the one.”

Batman: The Killing Joke will get its world premiere at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and then hit Blu-ray, DVD and digital later in the summer.
