‘Orange Is The New Black’ Cast Do ‘The Night Before Christmas’ Parody
Orange is the New Black castmembers put out a parody of the classic holiday story The Night Before Christmas to celebrate the Christmas season.
Orange Is The New Black Parody
The parody, “Twas a Night in Litchfield,” was narrated by series star Taylor Schilling, as well as Uzo Aduba, Taryn Manning, Samira Wiley, Jackie Cruz, Kate Mulgrew, Dascha Polanco, Yael Stone, Danielle Brooks, Laverne Cox, Adrienne C. Moore, Selenis Leyva, Laura Prepon, Lea DeLaria and Nick Sandow.
Noticeably missing from the video is Natasha Lyonne‘s Nicky, who was sent to the SHU towards the end of Orange is the New Black‘s third season.
“Twas a night in Litchfield and all through the prison,” goes the revised poem. “Not a creature was stirring, not even a chicken. The cell phones were stashed in the walls all around, in hopes that the contraband wouldn’t be found.”
“An old white dude was standing there looking confused. He was dressed all in red from his head to his shoes. His skin was so chalky, his beard was so thick,” it continued. “Is that Jesus?! No, dummy, That’s old St. Nick!”
Orange is the New Black‘s fourth season, for which Cruz (Flaca) and DeLaria (Big Boo) have been promoted to series regulars, will stream on Netflix in June 2016.
