Charlie Sheen opened up about being HIV-positive earlier this week, and could now be facing lawsuits from past sexual partners.

Charlie Sheen Getting Sued For Exposing Women To HIV?

At least six women that have claimed to have slept with Sheen, who has been open about his promiscuous ways, have sought out a Los Angeles lawyer to sue him, reported TMZ. They apparently plan to sue the former Two and a Half Men star for intentional distress, fraud and sexual battery among other things.

The six women contacted the lawyer following Sheen’s interview Monday. Four more women had made arrangements to met with the lawyer Tuesday. The women allege that they had both protected and unprotected sex with Sheen – some as recently as last month – and that he failed to reveal that he is HIV-positive.

The 10 women who’ve sought out this particular lawyer could be but a small fraction of the women who will eventually come forward claiming that Sheen knowingly exposed them to HIV. In the last two years alone, Sheen had as many as 200 sexual partners, a source told TMZ.

During his sit-down with Today‘s Matt Lauer Monday, Sheen maintained that upon discovering his HIV status, he told all of his sexual partners ahead of their sexual encounters that he was positive for the virus. He also stated that he used a condom with all of his sexual parters – except for two who were under the care of his doctor and were aware of the potential risks.

Despite claiming that he had taken all appropriate measures to prevent the spread of HIV, Sheen had acknowledged that it was more than likely he would soon be hit by a barrage of lawsuits.

“I can only imagine based on what I’ve already experienced and what’s come down the pike,” Sheen told Lauer, revealing he’s been blackmailed for up to $10 million by those who had wished to prematurely disclose his HIV status publicly. “I’m sure that’s next.”

“Having divulged [my diagnosis] is the reason I’m in the mess that I’m in with all the shakedowns,” Sheen explained. “Again, I can’t sit here and worry about it. I can only sit here with you and tell my truth.”
