Duking it out on The Calling’s “Wherever You Will Go,” the girls flawless harmonies wowed the judges and left Maroon 5’s Adam Levine with quite the dilemma when he had to decide which of the two acts he would choose to stay on his team.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to decide,” Levine said. “This is brutal. This is brutal.”

But decide he did, and it was young Pena who got the boot. Visibly disheartened by the decision, Pena was granted a second shot, however, when rival judge Blake Shelton invited him to join his team.

The judges all gushed over Andi and Alex’s vocal ability with both Pharrell and Gwen Stefani remarking that their perfectly pitched performance had almost a “magic” quality to it.

The Calling should also be throwing praise at the girls as their “magic” has sent the band’s 2001 hit rocketing up the iTunes charts, peaking at no. 17.

You can catch Andi and Alex on The Voice next Monday at 7p.m., when the duo will be pitted against another act on team Adam.
