Johnny Depp Worried About Daughter Lily Rose Depp’s Modeling Career

Depp, 52, is watching his 16-year-old daughter take the modeling world by storm after making her runway debut at the Chanel and Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Arts Collection fashion show earlier this year.

Speaking of Lily Rose’s entrance into the spotlight, Depp admitted that he was having some concerns. “To be honest, I’m quite worried. I wasn’t expecting all this to happen to Lily-Rose, especially not at this age,” Depp told Germany’s Gala magazine, via The Daily Telegraph.

Though Depp is not without his reservations about his daughter following her mother Vanessa Paradis‘ footsteps and becoming the next big thing in modeling, he has no plans to dissuade her from following her dreams.

“It’s her passion and she’s having fun,” Depp told the magazine of Lily Rose, who is the face of Chanel’s Pearl eyewear. “She knows I’m always there for her.”

Lily Rose, who made headlines in August when she posed for the Self Evident Project and came out on the LGBTQI spectrum, has also started a career in acting. In addition to appearing in the forthcoming Yoga Hosers with her father, she is also set to star in Planetarium with Natalie Portman and Kevin Smith‘s Moose Jaws.
