Hillary Clinton appeared on Saturday Night Live yesterday as a bartender, and gave advice to herself, as well as mocking Donald Trump.

HILLARY CLINTON ON ‘SNL’

Season 41 of SNL premiered on Saturday, and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton graced the audience with her presence as she played a bartender named Val who gave advice to a drunk and dispirited Hillary Rodham Clinton, played by Kate McKinnon. This is Clinton’s second appearance on the show, the first one being in 2008 when Amy Poehler was a member of the cast and Clinton’s impersonator at the time.

The sketch starts off with McKinnon as Clinton sitting in a bar with her friend, listening to people bad-mouth her behind her back, while she miserably sips her vodka. When her friend leaves she says she’s going to have one more drink and turns to the bartender who is none other than Hillary Clinton herself, who introduces herself as Val.

“I’m just an ordinary citizen who believes the Keystone Pipeline will destroy our environment,” Clinton as Val said when asked who she was.

After introducing themselves the two go on to discuss gay marriage and Donald Trump.

“It really is great how long you’ve supported gay marriage,” Clinton as Val told her impersonator.

“Yes, I could have supported it sooner,” McKinnon as Clinton replied.

“Well, you did it pretty soon,” Clinton as Val responded.

“Could have been sooner,” McKinnon as Clinton reiterated, making the audience laugh, leading Val the bartender to give in, saying, “fair point.”

The highlight of the sketch, however, was when Clinton as Val asks if Donald Trump wasn’t “the guy who’s like, ‘uh, you’re all losers,’” attempting to mimic Trump’s deep voice and irritable tone.

McKinnon as Clinton then gets out of hand explaining how she wants to be the one to bring down Trump, and how she intends to mount his hairpiece in the oval office, to which Val the bartender suggests she might need a vacation to relieve some of the stress she’s obviously under.

Hilary tweeted a picture of her and McKinnon on the show with the comment, “A vote for Hillary is a vote for four more years of Kate McKinnon’s impression #citizens.”

SNL also posted a photo on Instagram of Clinton and her doppelganger.

Clinton, who is a fan of the show, and is close friends with Amy Poehler, told Entertainment Tonight that she has learned a lot about herself by watching her impersonators. She says that she enjoys both Poehler and McKinnon’s impressions of her.
