Tisha Campbell-Martin Shares Experience With Rape In New Music Video “Steel Here”
Tisha Campbell-Martin recently released a new music video where she has her rapist´s apology painted on her chest.

Recently, on the Daily Helpline, Campbell-Martin, 46, revealed, for the first time publicly, that she had been raped when she was only three years old.
“I knew as a child that I did nothing wrong and that this wasn’t my fault,” she said. “I have found forgiveness in the guilt that I might have had.”
Campbell-Martin also released her new single “Steel Here” where she has the lines of a letter, written to her by her rapist, painted on her body.
Campbell-Martin has been in the entertainment industry since she was a teenager. She appeared on the show Martin, and has acted in films such as Little Shop of Horrors (1986), My Wife and Kids (2001) and Rita Rocks (2008). Now, she returns to music with an empowering message of freedom and strength. Campbell-Martin also took to Twitter to explain some of the symbolism in the video for “Steel Here.”
