Ryan Adams Unveils ‘Bad Blood’ Cover
Adams’ cover of “Bad Blood” transforms the upbeat pop single into a guitar-driven, soulful melody that many rock fans can enjoy.
The cover made its worldwide debut on Zane Lowe’s Apple’s Beats 1 radio show and on Monday, Lowe will be interviewing Adams about the new Swift cover album, along with a “special guest” via phone.
Swift took to Twitter to share her own excitement for Adam’s upcoming album.
“Ryan’s music helped shape my songwriting,” Swift tweeted, along with a countdown to the album’s release. “This is surreal and dreamlike.”
Swift loved the idea of Adams covering her album, and she told him so after he made the announcement. “Yes. Just finished Style. Badass tunes, Taylor. We’re sandblasting them and they’re holding steady,” Adams tweeted to Swift in August. “Cool I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I’M CALM,” Swift replied back.
