Supermodel Naomi Campbell went topless on Instagram and Twitter Tuesday to support the Free the Nipple campaign and to promote an upcoming Garage magazine series.

Campbell captioned the controversial black and white image of herself, “#freethenipple ❤️ sneak peek of my TASCHEN two-volume book #naomicampbell in @garage_magazine No. @mertalas @macpiggott.”

Garage also shared the stunning portrait of the model, though opted to play by Instagram’s rules and cover Campbell’s nipples. “See an exclusive preview of @TaschenBooks spectacular two-volume @iamnaomicampbell book in #GARAGENo9,” the magazine captioned the picture.

Instagram’s nudity policy has remained unchanged despite protests from the likes of Miley Cyrus, Chelsea Handler, Madonna and Chrissy Teigen.

“We know that there are times when people might want to share nude images that are artistic or creative in nature, but for a variety of reasons, we don’t allow nudity on Instagram,” the policy reads. “This includes photos, videos, and some digitally-created content that show sexual intercourse, genitals, and close-ups of fully-nude buttocks.”

Thus far, Campbell’s topless picture remains up on both Instagram and Twitter.
