Amber Heard’s Court Case For Allegedly Smuggling Terriers Into Australia Has Been Adjourned

Amber Heard was due to appear in court yesterday for illegally smuggling her and husband Johnny Depp‘s two terriers into Australia in May. The court date has been rescheduled to Nov. 2.

AMBER HEARD’S CASE ADJOURNED

In May, Heard, 29, and Depp, 52, flew to Australia with their two dogs, Pistol and Boo, without providing legal documentation for them. Heard was due to appear in court in Queensland, Australia Sept. 7, but the court case has been postponed until Nov. 2. If found guilty, the actress could face up to 10 years in prison.

The Australian Agriculture Minister apparently threatened to put the dogs down, to which Depp responded whimsically, “I killed my dogs and ate them, under direct orders of some kind of, I don’t know, sweaty, big-gutted man from Australia.”

Heard and Depp were seen in Venice, Italy over the weekend at the premiere of Depp’s latest film, Black Mass.
