‘Friends’ Costars Matthew Perry And Matt LeBlanc Weren’t Invited To Jennifer Aniston’s Wedding

They were costars together in the hit show Friends for almost a decade, and yet Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc were not on Jennifer Aniston‘s guest list for her wedding.

As Gossip Cop reported, Aniston married fiance Justin Theroux at her home in Bel Air on Aug. 5, where more than 70 guests thought they were attending a surprise birthday party for her now husband. In attendance were other Friends costars such as Courtney Cox, who served as Aniston’s maid of honor, and co-star Lisa Kudrow. Both Perry and LeBlanc were not in attendance, and they had no idea about the newlyweds’ wedding.  “I think they’re a great couple. I think she’s happy. And that’s all I care about is that Jen’s happy,” LeBlanc, told People on Monday at a Television Critics Association press event in Los Angeles. “If she wanted me there, I would have been there”. Even though LeBlanc was not invited, he said that he wasn’t disappointed about not getting an invitation, but that this makes it the second of Aniston’s wedding that he missed.

“I missed when she married Brad [Pitt],” he recalled. “I was in Austria working. She called me, and she was like, ‘You’re really not coming to my wedding?’ And I was like, ‘I asked them if they could change the schedule. I would fly and clap and fly out.’ And they said, ‘We can’t do it. It’s too tight.’ It was a small-budget movie in Austria you’ve never heard of. Probably should have left anyway, but s— happens. What are you going to do?”

Perry, who was also at the Television Critics Association press event said that the newlyweds are a “lovely couple,” and that he’s happy for them. “It was a surprise to me as well,” he said, and when asked if he was sorry he missed the wedding the star of CBS’s The Odd Couple replied: “I wasn’t invited. So what can you do?”

The couple have been enjoying their new life as a married couple at their honeymoon at the luxe Four Seasons Resort in the French Polynesian isle.
