Kate Hudson attended the Serpentine Gallery opening in London earlier this week at Kensington Gardens.

Hudson wore a sleeveless turtle neck blouse with a shimmery high-waisted skirt with a dangerously high slit by Louis Vuitton. The actress paired the look with a matching black box clutch with white detailing and nude pointed pumps. She kept her blonde locks loose and curly and went with minimal makeup with a slightly smoky eye and a light lip.

The event had a star-studded invite list with other guests such as Kiera Knightly, Cara Delevigne and Alexa Chung among others.

Rumors have been swirling lately regarding the 36-year-old’s love life. Most recently, she has been spotted spending some time with Dancing With The Stars’ alum Derek Hough throughout New York City. The two reportedly became more than friends when Hough gave Hudson dance lessons last year.

Hudson split from her fiance, Matthew Bellamy last December. She can next be seen in Barry Levison‘s Rock The Kasbah starring Bill Murray as an aging rock manager who takes his remaining client on a USO tour of Afghanistan to then end up abandoned in Kabul. He then discovers a young girl with a talented voice and manages her through Afghanistan’s version of American Idol.

To get this look, check out this skirt by Neiman Marcus, minus the sparkle. This long navy colored skirt features a thigh high slit in front, and a high waist line. The skirt is form fitting for showing off your curves and keeping you looking sleek. The high slit is sure to reveal a lot of skin as well as a be a contrast from all the coverage of the hemline. Combine it with this blouse from Macy’s that features a high scoop neckline and these nude pumps. Then add this simple black clutch for a complete look.

Get The Look For Less: Skirt, Neiman Marcus, $395. Blouse, Macy’s, $39. Clutch, Nordstrom, $48. Shoes, Zappos, $79.
