Little Mix singers Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock all held hands while walking into BBC Breakfast studios to promote their new single, “Black Magic.”

Although the focus of the interview was to be about the group’s new single, BBC Breakfast’s Louise Minchin felt compelled to ask about the crown-like accessory that Edwards, Zayn Malik‘s fiancee, was wearing Monday morning.

“It’s a headpiece, I like to call it a princess crown! It’s great,” Edwards told Minchin. “We love messing about with fashion, we think it’s really fun to express ourselves through fashion.”

Agreeing with Edwards, Nelson, outfitted in ripped black skinny jeans and a concert t-shirt, added, “We all have our own styles, and we’ve all been able to stay as individuals. We never steal each other’s clothes ever.”

Little Mix were formed on The X Factor four years ago, with the mentors believing that combining their individual talents into a girl group would give them the best chance in the competition. In the end, the girls ended up winning their season of The X Factor, becoming the first group to do so.

Thus far, Little Mix has released a pair of studio albums, as well as a perfume. Next, they’d like to do a movie and a world tour

“We want a movie really badly and a world tour,” Nelson said. “We have so much more we want to do so hopefully this will be the year.”
