Bruce Jenner Wins Gold

Caitlyn Jenner, then known as Bruce Jenner, won the Olympic Gold Medal in the decathlon. Jenner took home the top prize at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Canada, winning a record breaking 8,616 points in the event. Jenner’s accomplishment won him the title of Assiciated Press Male Athlete of the Year in 1976.
