Janet Jackson fans have grown impatient for new music, so much so that they created a Missing poster for the singer that went viral on Twitter.

Janet Jackson Missing?

Janet Jackson fan Neka, known on Twitter as @MyVelvetRope, first shared a “MISSING from the Entertainment/Music Industry” flyer for her favorite singer on April 15. The flyer encourages anyone with information regarding Jackson’s status to deliver the pop idol straight to the studio to make some new music.

“Seriously Janet, where the hell are you? We NEED you back. WE miss you. Your fans miss you. THE MUSIC INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU. Come back and show these young whippersnappers how it’s done! We’re not asking, we’re BEGGING! Unbreak our hearts! Sincerely, the most loyal fans in the world because we’ve been waiting 8+ years, #JanFam,” reads the flyer.

The flyer was re-tweeted to Jackson herself by Jimmy Jam, and Jackson also shared the flyer and responded to Neka, writing, “LOL. Too funny, too sweet.”

Jackson, known for hits such as “Rhythm Nation,” “Control” and “All For You,” hasn’t released new music since 2008’s Discipline.

Jackson has been laying low since marrying billionaire Wissam Al Mana in 2012, and it’s unclear whether or not she is even considering working on new music. A few days after seeing the flyer, Jackson tweeted a vague message: “Letting go doesn’t mean you stop.”
